Why I Built CodeFloww Instead of Using WhatsApp

During coding workshops and collaborative projects, students often relied on WhatsApp groups to share code snippets, files, and technical discussions.

The Problem

While WhatsApp works well for communication, it was never designed for collaborative coding. Code formatting breaks, important files get buried beneath hundreds of messages, and finding previously shared resources becomes difficult.

During workshops, I noticed students spending more time searching for files and code snippets than actually learning and building projects.

The Idea

I wanted a platform that focused only on collaboration.

Users should be able to create a room, share a room code, and instantly start collaborating without complicated registration processes or unnecessary setup.

Building CodeFloww

CodeFloww was built as a room-based collaboration platform where users can:

• Create private collaboration rooms
• Share code snippets
• Exchange files securely
• Collaborate through a simple interface
• Join instantly using room codes

Privacy was a major focus. Every room remains accessible only to users who possess the room code.

Impact

The platform has been used by classmates and workshop participants to share code and collaborate more efficiently.

Seeing real users actively use the platform reinforced the importance of solving practical problems rather than building features just for the sake of complexity.

Lessons Learned

Building CodeFloww taught me valuable lessons about product thinking, user experience, scalability, and building software around actual user needs.

The Story Behind WriteMyPDF

As a student, I often noticed that a significant amount of time was spent manually writing assignments rather than actually learning new concepts or building practical skills. This observation inspired me to create WriteMyPDF.

The Problem

Students frequently spend hours copying content into notebooks to complete assignment requirements. While assignments play an important role in education, the repetitive writing process often leaves less time for exploring technologies, working on projects, preparing for interviews, or understanding concepts in depth.

The Idea

The goal was simple: automate the repetitive part of assignment preparation while allowing students to focus on learning. Instead of spending hours writing the same content manually, students could use technology to save time and increase productivity.

Building WriteMyPDF

WriteMyPDF allows users to upload assignment PDFs and generate handwritten-style solutions with customizable handwriting formats. The platform simplifies assignment preparation while maintaining a natural handwritten appearance.

Impact

The platform helps students reduce repetitive work and invest more time in skill development, project building, and concept learning. The objective is not to replace learning but to remove unnecessary manual effort.

What I Learned

From Research Idea to Publication

My interest in Artificial Intelligence goes beyond development. I have always been fascinated by how machine learning can be applied to solve real-world problems through research-driven approaches.

Customer Churn Prediction Research

One of my published research papers focuses on an Explainable Ensemble Machine Learning Framework for Customer Churn Prediction. The research explored combining multiple machine learning models while maintaining explainability and interpretability of predictions.

Deepfake Detection Research

Another research project focused on Deepfake Detection using an EfficientNet-based Convolutional Neural Network with Threshold Optimization. The objective was to improve the reliability of identifying manipulated media and addressing challenges related to digital misinformation.

The Research Process

Research involves much more than training models. It requires studying existing literature, designing experiments, validating results, analyzing outcomes, and documenting findings in a structured and reproducible manner.
